Would recommend for a weekend jaunt

the hotel is a fantastic base to explore the city, right next to ueno park and just a few steps away from the lively streets filled with food stalls and shops, making every stroll a delight.

Disappointed with the malfunctioning massage chair that felt awkward to use!!! The fridge barely kept items cold and was ineffective. Plus, no phone in the room means stepping out to communicate with staff!!!

The location is fantastic, right across from the Keisei-Ueno station, making it incredibly easy to travel to and from the Narita Airport.

The television in my room was quite small, only 21 inches, and had poor signal quality, which was disappointing when I wanted to relax and watch something.

The compact room was exceptionally clean and conveniently equipped, allowing for comfortable living during my stay. The location was a major plus, just a few minutes' walk to both JR and Keisei Ueno stations, making traveling easy. Although the bathroom amenities were somewhat dated, the breakfast included pancakes and typical Japanese fare, which was a delightful start to each day. However, the elevator sometimes felt slow during peak hours and the Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent at times, which affected overall convenience.

The location was perfect for our large family, especially with two teenagers in tow. We enjoyed exploring Ueno Park, which was just a short stroll away. Breakfast included delightful homemade options, and the staff made our stay more pleasant by handling our luggage.

The hotel boasts a prime location directly outside of exit number 1 of Ueno Station, making access to transport effortless. My room was quite spacious, featuring two single beds, a lounge area, and a small balcony overlooking a scenic lake. The staff were exceedingly obliging and the room included thoughtful amenities, such as a fridge and complimentary hot water. Additionally, Ueno Park's beauty is just a stone's throw away, and numerous dining options are nearby.

The bathroom could benefit from modernization.

The room was spacious, especially for a Tokyo hotel, and had two double beds which was great for our family. We liked the small bath tub and the amenities like a public microwave on the floor. The air conditioning worked well, and everything was clean. It was a bit dated, but comfortable overall. Just be aware that the TV was kind of small, only 21 inches. Oh, and the staff were awesome about storing our bags before check-in.

The breakfast was awesome, with a great view of Ueno Park pond, making every morning feel special! I enjoyed the onsen-style baths on the top floor for some nice relaxation after exploring the city. Just keep in mind the bathroom is a bit snug, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. 😊
